Conclusion
At first glance, the new Windows 10 Start Menu appears to be a dramatic improvement over its predecessors. However, careful examination reveals that it is actually quite transparent, providing an un-obstructed view of the desktop beneath. This makes the Start Menu difficult to use when working with multiple applications open at the same time, and can even be confusing for new users who are accustomed to the traditional Start Menu. Consequently, Windows 10 Start Menu 100 transparent should be avoided unless you have a specific need for it.
